Express Car Recovery is more than a tow. In the same UK app you can request vehicle recovery and towing, or roadside help: battery jump start, fuel delivery, tyre assistance, vehicle lockout, a mobile mechanic, diagnostics, or EV charging assist.
Recovery and towing use the quote flow: pickup, drop-off, vehicle type (including hybrid or electric), schedule (ASAP or a timed slot) and a price on screen before you pay. Accident, breakdown and planned moves all go through that flow — add extra notes so the driver sees them.
Jump start, fuel, tyres, lockout, mechanic, diagnostics and EV charging assist work as service jobs: you post the request in the app. An independent partner who offers that line can take it. Availability is per job, like recovery — not a guaranteed instant van on every street.
There is no public depot. Download the app, pick the service, complete the details. Driver partners choose which lines they offer at registration.
